FACEBOOK TO TESTIFY BEFORE CONGRESS

Following the recent crisis facing the company, Facebook CEO mark Zuckerberg has been asked to appear before the congress.

This is coming few hours after Zuckerberg addressed the scandal publicly through a Facebook post on wednesday, taking full responsibility for the data security breach.

Although Facebook already laid down steps as to not let this happen again, lawmakers are not satisfied and still request that he appears before congress.

In a recent interview with CNN's Laurie Segall, he explained the whole incident leading to the Cambridge Analytica crisis and admitted to have made a mistake allowing third party apps to have access to Facebook users data.

Zuckerberg who is certain that this is all a plan towards disrupting the 2018 midterm election  has taken responsibility to assure the integrity of elections around the world on Facebook.

To prevent this from happeninig again, facebook CEO said that they are going to review thousands of apps, he stated that facebook clearly should have done this upfront with Cambridge Analytica.

He added that if found that Cambridge Analytica still has access to the data, they are ready to take all legal steps to making sure that the data of people on Facebook be fully protected.

when asked how he feels about appearing before the congress, he says he is happy to be seen fit to give the most knowledge about what Congress is trying to learn about facebook.

And so we all just look forward to what happenes as facebook faces the congress
