Robbers kill Indian national in Lagos
Lagos - A robbery attack has led to the death of Srivastava Kumar, an Indian national in the Lekki Ajah area of Lagos State, Punch reports.
The 45-year-old Kumar reportedly died at St. Nicholas Hospital due to injuries sustained from the robbery attack while working on an agricultural farm in Eleko, Ajah, on the Lekki-Epe Expressway.
The armed robbers were said to have stabbed Kumar in the hand and the chest during the robbery, which occurred on Wednesday, February 11.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, confirmed the incident. He added that the matter had been transferred to the state Special Anti-Robbery Squad for further investigation.
